Huw Stephens (DJ set)
Starting 2010 as he means to go on, Radio 1 new music DJ Huw Stephens brings the noise with three excellent new bands on this exclusive tour. Frankie and the Heartstrings are the Sunderland band who are turning heads and melting hearts with their debut single on the legendary Rough Trade label and a batch of live shows so wonderful they’ve rightly been tipped for huge things in 2010. Their blend of mesmeric psychedelia has made them ones to watch in the NME and earned them a Radio 1 session.

Those Kids Are Meatballs

Come dressed in your most multi-coloured square-tastic finery - don’t forget to mix it up like a Sir Mixalot megamix - we’re talking red and yellow and pink and green and orange and purple and blue… As every time that klaxon sounds you have to remove an item and swap it with the person next to you.

So… by the end of the night you are rockin’ it in one colour and one colour only.

Sounds simple? Sounds Messy? Sounds like a plan.
